About Vision

Product Experience Platform

Overview

Vision is a working demo of functionality for our future cloud platform. The features and concepts are based on input from our users, customers, and customer-facing teams — in particular from our research projects "Product Experience Vision" led by our Design-team and conducted for Commercial Interiors (2024–2025) and Material Handling (2025–2026), along with feedback from customers in all our different industries.

Vision also incorporates and demonstrates functionality from our ongoing AI initiatives, exploring how intelligent automation can enhance product visualization and space planning workflows.

Demo Environment: The companies, products, and users you see here are demo data representing different roles and industries. You can try logging in as different demo users to explore workflows for their specific roles. Vision will be continuously updated with new concepts and functionalities.

The Vision

The overall vision is that clients, dealers/designers, and manufacturers can all use this platform from start to finish in their projects. Clients can be a company planning an office space, a warehouse operator, or an end consumer planning their new kitchen.

For Clients

Clients can find inspiration by browsing photos from similar projects and pick the ones they like as starting points. They can browse product catalogs from different manufacturers to see products and options available to them.

In the preparation phase, clients can upload floor plans and photos of their location, and even use their mobile phones to make 3D scans. When moving to the Sketch phase, 3D versions of their locations are generated based on the floor plans, photos, and scans provided.

Clients can create rough sketches themselves or pass their project directly to a dealer/designer. Using abstract placeholder products, they can create the overall design and then select which actual products to use. They can create different alternatives, compare costs, and switch between viewing options.

For Dealers & Designers

Dealers and designers can do high-level sketch/design in the online tools and also open projects in CET for detailed design and specification. Projects are fully integrated between CET and the cloud tools, so changes in one update the other.

Communication around projects happens directly in the 3D sketch environment where both clients and designers can add comments and information directly on the drawing space, making it easy to annotate particular areas or items.

It's also easy for dealers and designers to add custom products. By just providing a picture of a product, they can get a 3D model to use in their projects. They can create their own libraries and share them within teams, dealerships, or make them public.

For Manufacturers

The platform provides powerful tools for digitizing and managing product catalogs. Manufacturers can easily manage product lines and pricing for different dealers and markets.

With AI-powered content creation tools, products are automatically mapped to abstract product placeholders, and automatically categorized and tagged to enable easy searching. 3D graphics are automatically optimized for performance, and content creation tools allow composition of advanced products using common parts.

Manufacturers can also use Vision to power their own websites, letting customers browse their catalogs and dealer networks, helping connect with their closest dealer.

Templates & AI Features

Both manufacturers and dealers can create reusable templates/typicals with combinations of products. Templates can include abstract placeholders, allowing clients and designers to do high-level design with preconfigured product combinations.

The AI-powered test fitting functionality can automatically create suggestions by populating sketches with suitable product placeholders based on previous projects.

Homeowners planning kitchen or bathroom renovations. Can browse inspiration, explore products from different manufacturers, upload photos and floor plans of their spaces, and create initial designs.

Kitchen and bath showroom staff and designers who work with consumers to create detailed plans. Can manage multiple projects, create professional designs, and specify products for ordering.

Cabinet, countertop, and fixture manufacturers who maintain product lines and digital assets. Full platform access for catalog management and dealer network coordination.

Material Handling

Client / Site Owner

Warehouse operators, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities planning storage and material handling systems. Can explore solutions, upload facility plans, and work with integrators on designs.

Inspire

Browse inspiration from completed projects and curated galleries. Find photos of similar spaces to use as starting points for your own projects. Filter by industry, style, and project type.

Prepare

Sketch
